It was a sad day across the nation as a mass shooting in Las Vegas left 59 dead and hundreds more wounded. Shots were fired from a hotel room at Mandalay Bay around 10 pm, while the Route 91 Harvest Festival was taking place outside the hotel. The shooter was identified as 64 year old Stephen Paddock, he committed suicide as SWAT team approached his room. The shooting has become the deadliest shooting in US history surpassing the amount of casualties from last year’s massacre at Pulse nightclub in Orlando.
Numerous celebrities took to social media to speak on the tragedy including Trey Songz who was in Vegas at the time.
Don't even know what to say. To be in Vegas while this is happening, brings a pain to my heart. My team and I are safe Thank God! Prayers up
