Beyoncé, Rihanna Take Over MTV VMA’s

Last night the VMA’s took over Madison Square Garden and turned into a Beyoncé- Rihanna show. Rihanna was honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award celebrating her achievements over the last 11 years. Before being presented her award by Drake, Rihanna performed four medleys of some of her most popular songs like We Found Love, Work and Where Have You Been throughout the show.

Beyoncé hit the stage and gave a 15 minute mini concert performing five songs from her latest album Lemonade including “Pray You Catch Me”, “Don’t Hurt Yourself, “Sorry”, “Hold Up” and “Formation”. Beyoncé also took home eight awards including Video of the year for “Formation”.
